What Redox Signaling Means for You

If you have been listening to Dr. Dave’s health and wellness teleseminar then you know he covers a broad range of valuable and useful health information designed to optimize how you feel and perform in your daily lives. His program is not about one product over another, but about what you can do to improve overall your personal health situation and empower you so you can make a choice and go to the next level.

One new science you have heard him discuss is that of redox signaling molecules. Up there next to stem cell research, scientists continue to investigate this “critical to life” biological component. And Dr. Dave can talk and explain about it in a way that is easy to understand without any fancy hype. Yet, many have called it an “ah-ha” moment. The latest study just out shows results that top nationally ranked researchers had a hard time believing.

This new study, performed by the North Carolina Research Institute of which top university research centers like Duke, UNC Chapel Hill, Appalachian State and others, was led by Dr. David Nieman. He directed a team of Ph.D.s known for their exacting and comprehensive research into the effects of supplementation on exercise and exertion.

Their results found that “athletes who drank Asea experienced a significant shift in metabolites PRIOR to exercise.” What makes this unusual is they expected to see a difference in the shifting between Asea and the placebo AFTER exercise rather than before. Additionally, it is a bit ironic if not illuminating because the placebo used in the study was salt water. Whereas the ingredients of Asea are sodium chloride and distilled water, a.k.a. salt water, to which an electrochemical process introduces to and stabilizes redox signaling molecules.

There is much more to be known about this product that is likely to turn health and physical performance on its heel.
